On 9th May 2012, a delegation of Southern Taiwan University of Technology (STUT) has visited and had a working session with leaders and students of VNU University of Economics and Business.

In implementing the plan of 2011- 2012 academic year of VNU University of Economics and Business, the Faculty of Development Economics has organized a field visit at Hanoi Trade Corporation for sophomore on 5th May 2012. The Vice Dean, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Viet has led the delegation.

On the morning of 17th April 2012, at VNU University of Economics and Business, the second training course of improving entrepreneurial skills for female in Vietnam SMEs was opened with 33 learners who are female managers of Hanoi Business Association (HBA) and Hanoi Association for Entrepreneur Women (HNEW).

On 18th April 2012, the VNU University of Economics and Business has organized a seminar to discuss and share about the experience in outcome-based training to meet the social requirements.

On the evening of 18/4/2012, at 801 Hall- E4 Building, a recruitment and seeking program “Potential Maritime Bank’s leader 2012” was organized by the Center for Student Services, VNU University of Economics and Business, in cooperation with the Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Maritime Bank).

11/4/2012, The Faculty of Finance and Banking, VNU University of Economics and Business, before they graduated from university, held a farewell ceremony for students of the course QH-2008-E Finance - Banking with the title "Forever Miss UEB”.

On 9th April 2012, President of Vietnam National University Hanoi - Prof.PhD. Mai Trong Nhuan has approved the Decision 1189/QD-TCCB, appointing Dr. Vu Anh Dzung, who is the Dean of Faculty of International Business & Economics to the post of UEB Vice Rector.

On 3rd April 2012, Assoc.Prof.Dr Nguyen Hong Son, Rector of VNU University of Economics and Business held a meeting with Mr. Horsewood who is the Head of Department of Economics and a senior lecturer from the University of Birmingham.

On 30th March 2012, VNU University of Economics and Business has organized a seminar on experience in managing an international journal.

On 29th March 2012, In Sewa Ltd., a humanitarian and social organization of Singapore has officialized the agreement on talent scholarship with VNU University of Economics and Business through a signing ceremony.
